Last Thursday was a splendid evening the Chelsea Art Museum.
I hope you had time and plan to go again.
Here is the photo gallery I shot from that night.
Tomorrow I'll post some individual selections.
Dancing, Installations and of course completely random.

Chelsea Art Museum's 2010 Winter Wickedness Party: Dance Off
There always seems to be a dance off at this party.
I saw and took photos of some pretty amazing moves.
This Gentleman brought some class and flare to the floor.
Elegance with and amazing suit always takes control.
Chelsea Art Museum's 2010 Winter Wickedness Party: Somebody told me
Some guy told me this was guy was a somebody.
All I can say is this is a pretty fun shot form light show dance off.

The Woods are alive with photos, music and readings
And not to mention some really good looking folks and tasty bevy.
I love this photo and a chance to finally recall tuesday.
It has the feel of seconds before an amazing adventure.
Or what it must be like when a trio of superheroes unite.
Don't worry I'm not going break in to full nerd mode.
(20 sided dice necklace, say what?, shhhhh)
Here's a full gallery of all the transpired on tuesday.
It's fun going through all these photos from the Woods.
This was the second time I saw Maya & the Stacy Dillard Trio perform
Es bueno! That's all the spanish I can think of today.
Besides, Donde esta mis camiseta azul y tu rojo zapatos.
There was also some great conversation in ingles at the woods.
I was given the secret about the food cart they have outside
A funny thing happened with one of my beer bottles, pure timing
I was waiting for wrath when I joked a little Q&A for travel & moving.
I think I said "Ummmm a question for the author about moving"
I should have been getting ready for a well deserved slap. Hehehe!
But as I recall it was replied with a giggle or some laughter.
The show also featured a performance by Erin Barra.
Belting out some tunes with a looping tray of keyboards and beats
She was even joined by special guests.
I wish I still had my 28mm lens for the shots of me and maya.
But this still came out pretty awesome.
When the night was in full swing it started to snow. See!
That left some time to shuffle along for Endless SummerTacos
Followed by some late night bus and Train rides.
A successful night in brooklyn with a safe return home
Even with the dangers of snow no ankles or cameras were harmed.
So what have we learned from this adventure.
1. There's something called a pickle back
2. Jameson & Bud for $6 will have me at The Woods very soon
3. We're read too slow and prefer live performances
4.You should probably get The Him Book right now...
5. We are the jam. I have a team of top researchers, scientists, linguist and historians researching this to find out what exactly means. So far we're leaning towards Awesome! but can't confirm yet.
That's all for now-ish....

Good times. This is my second time seeing them perform.
More photos later....
Maya Contreras & Friends at The Woods
Last night we tip toed out to The Woods in Brooklyn.
I think I'll have to stop by there again and visit Savalas for sure.
It was for an amazing event of readings, music and fun.
I'll get the rest of the photos up later.
But here's a sneak peek.

The Deitch that was...
I'll do a proper post some time regathering the adventures.
But I'm still not sure about all the rumors.
With Jeffrey head to the west coast it sounds like Deitch's might shut
18 Wooster has a show scheduled for March 4th.
If you have everbeen to one of their shows it's amazing.
Classy, chaotic, loud, quite and completely random.
Good times and always different.
I hope this isn't the end.
But when someone leaves it's a chance for another to step up...
I forgot about this....
It's almost that time of year.
Blinkin Lincoln Day is just under 2 weeks from friday...
February 12th an adventure to venture all adventures in BK...
Stay tuned!

Ladies Night at KCDC: Ladies Sesh
So if you've seen I've been covering KCDC's Skate Night a bunch.
I always have a fun time there doing one of my favorite things.
Taking skate photos and maybe having a bevy or two.
It's fun either when its mellow or just straigh up hectic and packed.
This week they set aside about an hour or so for ladies session.
Let me know tell you I saw some pretty sick stuff go down.
The attempts on the extension where pretty serious.
Here now are some the ladies in action at KCDC.
On Deck!
Hands Up
Rolling, Rolling, He speed and pop on & off the lip was sick...
This is low lit on my part. But came slow close to land this...
And bailing from the coping is pretty sketchy...ouch!
50-50
Next up some fellas on the ramp and in the air!
Flat Bottom Candid at KCDC
Still working but this is a funny thought.
I'm surprised I haven't been cracked by trucks in the mount or have grip tape burn all over my face.
Taking skate photos is kinda ridiculous when you think about.
Put plastic box in front your face blocking your peripheral vision.
Now stand a couple inches away, next to where a rider should land.
Hopefully you won't get boardsmacked or fallen on. Good Luck!
So in that's spirit here's a couple moments of clarity.
Rolling away clean on the flat bottom, it's always a before then after
The period between the chaos.
The real trick is to keep on rollin
This kid just ripped the whole night.
Doing every trick I could dream of....
This post should be considered the calm before the storm...
Wait for it...Just wait.....

Thursday Night at KCDC
Falla Cracking a smile on the KCDC ramp last night.
It was a crazy long day with tons of photos.
Working on the photos now and I'll have them up soon.
All I have to say is $4 gets you a 40 of Bud and a bag of pistachios.
Let the adventure be retold soon.
