So let's talk about last night.
It got really busy and hectic.
Then it calmed down.
Dinner was BBQ at Lynyrd Skynrd.
I was gonna go strange meik! adventure.
Instead I end up at RPM NightClub at the Tropicana.
It was a fun little event.
Basically what people told about clubs in 90's and now.
Girl in floating bubble throwing confetti.
Dudes drinking like crazy
That guy made that song "All the chickenheads be quiet"
Then some girl was shoot a music video.
Obviously club style.
Then there was all sorts of go-go dancing.
Later these mad max style dancers came out and made some insane dance moves on the tables.
LED light sticks, cleavage, chaos, and more.
Tons of suits in booths and ladies dancing.
At some point Three6Mafia was there.
I was wonder if they might perform but they didn't while I was there till, ummmm...
It was actually a fun time.
Good music and the staff and crew were working like a well oiled machine.

With that said I ended up walking back to the excalibur at a reasonable time-ish.
Bought a t-shirt, twix ice cream bar, gatorade, gummy worms and chips.
Oh and took my photo with spongebob as you see.

Add some sleep after setting 9 alarms so I would wake.
To now where I'm onsite with the last show ready to go.

Vegas it's been fun but I gotta head back east.
I will eat a giant steak later to celebrate.

Start the countdown to egg nog, fish parties and coal burning.
Fun facts real trees and poinsettias are the death of me.
Break of the Benadryl and rash cream.
If you remake a Christmas that George Michael was in without GM you've committed a crime.
There's other things to avoid.
But mainly have some fun and share it around.

Usually around this time of years I tell friend I'm trekking to the Himalayas.
Usually me and my sherpa Mr. Pasang go on splendid sojourns full of mystery, adventure and frosty navigation.
Then these friend are confused when they see me in an NYC bar with 2000 ft. of rope
But with no sign of Mr. Pasang nearby.

I usually say I was falling and somehow time traveled here.
I'm then usually handed whiskey and told to shut the hell up.
The way I see it 2000 ft. of rope equals free whiskey.

Plans for 2012 are going to be Insane
1. Meik! Industries is gonna go Large...
2. Backyard BioDome...Yeah I said it.
3. Learn to speak Danish and Dutch
4. Get Healthier
5. Skate or Die

Get a list together of things.
It should be fun.
And if you forget you can use them the year after.

So to recap at some point we ventured to Milk Gallery.
Any show that Rickey Powell is involved with I'm going to.
It's going to be fun filled with sick photos, pretty people, dancing, music and bevy.
Maybe a few scuffles and funny smelling burning things.
All in all a fun time to run in to faces you missed for a bit.

Stuff you can't imagine just happening in a pool of chaos.
I like that added in with some spirits in this case bottles of Heineken.
I surely wasn't feeling any pain that night.

So yes, yesterday was Skate Night.
A long evening full of pizza, bevy, skating and later dancing.
that would be to celebrate Mayra's Bday.
Folks were in good spirits in cold weather as it actually warmed up a little.
Shenanigans ensued and stuff happened.
Cabs were taken to buses to cabs at 4am.
And someone got home at 5am.
And somehow made it to work today.

So let's talk about yesterday.
I had plans to go skate and meet up with folks.
Well I go to the bus and waited a little.
See my skateboard here...

Go to McCarren and skated around a bunch.
There's way too many bikes and scooters.
Anyways I was just messing around the quarterpipe.
I didn't really want to hit up the curbs cause I was riding a big board.
30 Minutes in I tried to boardslide and I F'd up.
Rolled on my left big toe and smacked it with the board.
Turf toe for all of you NFL insiders out there.
Pain, swelling and cursing...
All on a stupid little trick.
I think walking would have been more dangerous.
Session done pretty much.
Headed over to Turkey's Nest for Therapy

Leaned on the golf machine

Limped back to the L some how.
Got on the bus and raised my hand for a bum toe

So I don't really know how to recap yesterday.
But here's how we go so far.
Post storms I rolled in to NYC.
Got some snacks and stopped by a certain Soccer Bar near Webster Hall.

We after some bevy's I hear this rattling in the chair next to me.
It turned out to be a small child climbing the stool for napkins.
Once I realized this I was more alert as was the guy two seats over whose voice sounded really familiar.
I put my hands out as did he cause if the kid slipped he was gonna fall 4 or 5 landing on his head.
The little guy hopped down safely and all was averted.
Few drinks later I was 90% sure it was Julian Casablancas stopping by to watch Freddy Adu and the Philadelphia Union play.
So I'm not the only one who does that sorta thing.

Around 730ish I rolled over to Webster Hall.
The show had an early start and the openers were quite good.
I do believe they were Royal Bangs and Bear Hands.
Bear Hands in action...

Nice loud multi-instrumental rock.

At 9:15pm the men from Scotland took the stage.

The show was insane and I heard everything I wanted to hear.
I was surprised they played the 8 minute jam epic "Keep Warm"
The show was in your face and kept to the business of rocking.
Some guy was heckling and singing wrong songs loudly.
Surprisingly it wasn't Gavin McInnes who was also next to me.
Besides him saying F' England he was bouncing and sing along the whole time.
The crowd filled in on lyrics, backing and chants.
It was a fun time for a band I first heard in a surf film, The Union Express, a few years back.
